2.5W LED Emergency Ceiling Light | 3 Hour Backup EML05D

The 2.5W round LED emergency ceiling light provides up to three hours of backup illumination during a mains power failure. Supporting both maintained and non-maintained operation, it offers flexible emergency-lighting coverage for corridors, stairwells, offices, communal areas, commercial premises and other designated escape routes.

In maintained mode, the integrated LED remains illuminated during normal operation and continues running from its internal battery when the electricity supply fails. In non-maintained mode, the light remains off under normal conditions and activates automatically following a loss of mains power.

The fitting has a circular, flush-style design and is intended for surface mounting on a suitable ceiling. It operates from a 220–240V AC supply at 50Hz or 60Hz and has a stated emergency conversion time of less than one second. The battery provides up to 180 minutes of backup illumination after completing the specified 24-hour charging period.

Emergency lighting should be positioned, installed, commissioned and regularly tested in accordance with the applicable building and fire-safety requirements.
